Team is hoping for game at home
The 28 seniors on the Woburn football team have never played at home. Bumped from the high school by a nearly four-year, $68 million reconstruction project, the Tanners have had to play “home games” in Burlington and hold practices at an elementary school field boasting a single, sagging goal post.

UniFirst reports record results
Wilmington-based UniFirst Corp., a supplier of workplace uniforms, has reported record financial results for its 2007 fiscal year ended Aug. 25. Revenues were $902.1 million, a 9.9 percent increase over the previous year, and net income was $45.2 million, a 15.3 percent gain over fiscal 2006.
