A successful experiment in volunteer police patrols is expanding from Scarborough into Standish, following a national trend from Florida to California.

Nancy Stevens left Chicago 16 years ago and has never looked back. “We chose to move here from out of state,” said Stevens, who is now Marlborough’s mayor. “I haven’t regretted my decision for one minute.”
